Why have CoolMist introduced a range of products to combat pet odours?
To be honest it was purely by accident. Two years ago our kids brought home a new puppy. Adorable as she was, she still needed to be toilet trained. No matter how hard we tried to contain and keep her away from our carpeted area she still managed to find her way there.
 
To solve the problem we decided to take home some of our industrial products to see if they would help with the clean up from the accidental soiling by Charlee.
 
What we found was that PET ABSORB was a great way to soak up urine accidents. The granules absorbed the urine and prevented it from soaking into the carpet, the granules were easy to sweep up and dispose of. We then sprayed PET RELIEF directly on to the affected area removing the odour in the carpet.  All that was needed to do then was to treat the stain using the appropriate stain removal method.  We discovered that Charlee did not return to the same spot to re-soil.
 
Even though Charlee is older now and there are no more accidents we still use both products, as she is in the house a lot and her smell can linger. A quick spray of PET RELIEF on her bed and directly in the air fixes the problem and leaves the house with a fresh smell.
 
We use PET ABSORB outside too, having a small backyard means there is limited space for toileting. Charlee's favourite spot is in the garden under the lemon tree. At times this area gets a very pungent odour and the smell can drift a long way. By sprinkling PET ABSORB over this area the smell is taken away immediately. The good thing is that it lasts for a long time before another application is required, and best of all it is completely safe and won't harm Charlee or the environment.
